Newquay has many really good quality hotels, most of which have gorgeous views. Two of the hotels have been used in various films. Guest Houses are even more numerous, as are accommodation offering Bed & Breakfast; there is no shortage of places to stay; though in the high season, it is best to consult with the staff in the tourist office, unless you’ve already booked. Eating out is always a pleasure as there are so many restaurants and cafes from which to choose; a few have only recently become established in the town.

Most of the big supermarkets are located within the town and several food stores remain open till late. The main banks are located in East Street and Bank Street. The town church of St Michael is located on the corner of Marcus Hill and St Michael’s Road, the Roman Catholic Church is on Tower Road and other denominational churches are in the town centre, including the Salvation Army. The Jehova Witnesses church is between Hendra and Trencreek.
